Understand cavitation, RF and vacuum.

40K cavitation handpiece for ultrasound body cavitation

40K cavitation

40K is the dedicated ultrasound cavitation function.

RF warming with the LY-54K2 handpieces

RF warming

RF handpieces provide warming through their contact electrodes.

Vacuum RF handpiece with adjustable suction

Vacuum RF

Vacuum RF adds a suction-and-release action with separately adjustable strength and rhythm.

Where LY-54K2 fits

Use the facial RF formats for their designated facial paths. Body routes combine the permitted functions for each area. The back route uses RF and vacuum RF, with no 40K cavitation.

Facial firmness-focused care

Use the four-pole handpiece for the facial RF routine. The smaller three-pole format provides a separate facial/eye-area option with its own operating paths.

Abdomen and leg contour care

Combine the body functions in an area-specific sequence. The abdomen route uses six-pole RF, 40K and vacuum RF; the leg route uses 40K followed by vacuum RF.

Vacuum massage with RF warming

Choose vacuum RF for a combined suction-and-warming step. Adjust the suction rhythm with M0–M5 and the strength with the side knob.

A clearer picture

Different areas need different routes.

The abdomen example uses six-pole RF, then 40K, then vacuum RF. Legs use 40K followed by vacuum RF. The back example uses six-pole RF and vacuum RF. The vacuum mode and strength knob do different jobs.

Choose the intended area

Keep facial and body handpiece paths distinct.

Know your vacuum setting

M0 runs RF without suction; the side knob controls suction strength.

Plan your care and maintenance

Prepare compatible gel, fit the required vacuum filter and clean the used handpieces after the routine.

Your first steps

Get ready with a clear guide.

Prepare the right handpiece and follow the operating instructions for your model.

Preparing the LY-54K2 system for first use
01
Prepare power and connectionsUse the grounded power connection specified in the operating instructions and confirm the regional power cord and supply. With the unit stopped, check the handpiece connections before selecting a function.
02
Check the vacuum filter before useIf the selected routine includes vacuum RF, confirm that the required filter cotton is fitted. Check the associated rubber ring for damage or aging; missing or poorly fitted parts can weaken suction.
03
Cleanse and apply the correct mediumRemove surface oil or essential-oil residue and apply the compatible 40K or RF medium for the selected handpiece. Clean preparation and the correct medium help maintain working contact.
04
Choose the function with FUNCConfirm the selected label: 40K, three-pole RF, vacuum RF, four-pole RF or six-pole RF. Set time and energy on the display; begin at level 1.
05
Set vacuum behavior only when neededMODE is available for vacuum RF. Choose M0 for no suction, M1 for continuous suction, or an intermittent M2–M5 pattern. Use the separate side knob for strength; do not apply these modes to every handpiece.
06
Keep the correct contact and monitor comfortUse the paths for the selected body area. RF contact surfaces need close contact with the prepared skin. If suction becomes excessive, stop and reset it as instructed rather than continuing through discomfort.
07
Pause, finish and move to maintenanceUse Start/Pause to end the active function before moving on. After the selected route, remove residue, switch off, disconnect power and clean the used handpieces and vacuum components.

Make the connection

Choose a route for the care you need.

Facial RF routine

Cleanse→compatible RF medium→four-pole facial RF→finish→clean the handpiece.

Follow the facial movement paths. Use the three-pole handpiece's separate instructions for the designated eye-area route; never apply directly to the eyes.

Abdomen routine

Prepare→six-pole body RF→40K cavitation→vacuum RF→finish and clean.

Choose the function for each stage and check the matching handpiece before starting.

Leg and back routines

Legs: 40K→vacuum RF. Back: six-pole RF→vacuum RF.

Keep 40K out of the back routine and follow the movement paths for the selected area.

Keep your routine going

Care is part of owning the system.

A useful first check

Help when a setup needs attention.

What you noticeWhat to checkYour next step
Vacuum RF has no suction M0 intentionally has no suction; filter installation or seals can also affect the vacuum path. Check the selected mode first. With the function stopped, check the filter and rubber seal, then the suction control. Do not start by applying maximum suction to skin.
RF seems absent or uneven The wrong selection, oily preparation, missing medium or incomplete electrode contact may be involved. Check FUNC, cleanse the area, apply the compatible medium and confirm full contact. Stop and contact support if the issue remains.
40K seems quiet Quiet operation can make it difficult to judge the handpiece by sound alone. Check function selection and the compatible 40K gel. If you are unsure whether it is operating, contact support for the handpiece-check instructions.
Suction is excessive or a component is damaged A setting or a faulty connection may need attention. Stop the function, reset to an appropriate starting setting and inspect the external connections. Keep damaged parts out of use and contact support.

The four-pole RF handpiece is used in the facial routine. The smaller three-pole handpiece has separate facial/eye-area instructions. Never apply directly to the eyes.

Can I use 40K on the back?

No. The back route uses six-pole RF followed by vacuum RF. The 40K precautions exclude the back.

Why is there no suction in M0?

M0 runs RF without suction. Choose M1 for continuous suction or M2–M5 for intermittent patterns, then adjust strength with the side knob.

What medium should I prepare?

Use compatible 40K treatment gel for cavitation and compatible RF medium for the RF handpieces. Clean the area before applying the medium.

How do I clean the handpieces?

Remove gel and residue, wipe the surfaces with a damp towel or 75% alcohol as directed, and dry with a towel. Remove filter cotton during vacuum-handpiece cleaning and refit the required filter before reuse.
